Out-of-State Tuition Academic Merit Scholarship

Skaggs School of Pharmacy PharmD Out-of-State Tuition Academic Merit Scholarship:

Beginning in academic year 2021-2022, the Skaggs School of Pharmacy started offering tuition scholarships of up to $15,000/year to out-of-state students who are committed to completing the PharmD degree at the University of Montana. The scholarship is based on academic merit and gives high-achieving and academically strong out-of-state students the opportunity to complete their PharmD program at significantly reduced out-of-state cost, while receiving high-quality of education from the program with a strong history of patient-centered care, interprofessional training and activities, outreach, academic rigor and quality, and student-centered environment with dedicated faculty, staff and administrators. As our PharmD program is located in beautiful Missoula, Montana, we offer a safe and calm, inclusive, culturally-stimulating environment that also offers a variety of sporting and outdoor activities to provide ample opportunities to rejuvenate and relieve stress. Geographically diverse students are encouraged to apply.

During the admission Autumn 2023 cycle , all out-of-state applicants who meet requirements through the School’s admission process by completing and submitting their application to PharmCAS, completing a successful interview, and are granted admission to the PharmD program, will be considered for the Skaggs School of Pharmacy Out-of-State Tuition Academic Scholarship based on pre-pharmacy GPA for pre-requisite classes only.

Estimated Annual Cost of Attendance in Academic Year 2022-2023:

Current annual out-of-state tuition and fees for the PharmD program is $37,212. With a maximum scholarship of $15,000, this would be reduced to $22,212.
